After we’ve seen Ryner and Ferris reunited in the previous episode, here comes another interference on Ryner’s journey, introducing the new character, Ryner’s father, who “killed” Ryner for the sake of embedding a strange symbol into his chest. I’m not really sure what this symbol is trying to depict, however, I have the idea that this symbol involves the “lonely one” within Ryner’s body.

This episode also focused on Sion’s conflict with his other self, whether Sion would choose to kill Ryner or not, but it seems that the episode didn’t show it clearly who won between those two personalities. I still have the feeling that Sion choose to kill Ryner.
